Our bookstore and seven branch Friends book sale areas are your places to shop for a wide range of gently used books at unbelievably low prices. We offer hardbacks and paperbacks, CDs, DVDs at all locations and the bookstore also offers vintage vinyl and a selection of gift items. The bookstore also carries many Inlandia titles.
The bookstore is located at 3900 Mission In Ave, across the breezeway from the Main Library building. Current Bookstore hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM – 2 PM, Saturday, 11 AM – 4 PM. All other branches are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM – 6 PM.
Buck a Bag book sale
Visit our Buck a Bag book sale the last Saturday of every month at the Friends book store. You give us a buck and we give you a plastic grocery bag that you fill with as much great fiction, nonfiction, children’s books as it will hold. And if you fill up that bag, give us another buck and we give you another bag. No limit.
